Promemoria X Doucal's Mediterranean Collection SS25
On the terrace of Palazzo Bagatti Valsecchi, a historic building in Milan's fashion district, Doucal's will present its spring-summer 2025 collection, inspired by the Mediterranean.
To complete the experience, Doucal's will also present a structural installation inspired by sea tents. The installation is made of lightweight sheets that drape from the ceiling, recreating the effect of the lapping of waves on the shore. It also includes two Itaca armchairs supplied by luxury brand Promemoria. The design is openly inspired by the world of sailing: two triangular sails, anchored and stretched, form the seat and back of the armchair respectively. The two sails are covered in fabric for outdoor use, with the ends reinforced as loops for attaching carabiners.
Doucal's was founded in Montegranaro as an artisan shoemaking workshop created by Mario Giannini and transformed into a company in 1973. In the following decades, Gianni and Jerry Giannini expanded the business to its current size, preserving production techniques with the exclusive charm of Made in Italy.
